Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), Dhaka Office participated in
Showcase Malaysia- 2008, a trade fair organized by Bangladesh
Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) in cooperation with
Malaysia South-South Association (MASSA) and with active support of
H.E. High Commissioner of Malaysia in Bangladesh with an objective
to produce a platform for the business communities of Bangladesh and
Malaysia to foster business linkages and collaboration. The trade
fair was held on March 20-22, 2008 at the Winter Garden of Dhaka
Sheraton Hotel. Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, Foreign Affairs
Adviser of the present Caretaker Government inaugurated the 3-day
long Showcase Malaysia-2008. Thousands of educated visitors of the
upper class of the society visited the pavilion of Malaysian Palm
Oil Council and became familiarized with Malaysian Palm Oil, the
consumer packs of which were sold from MPOC pavilion.
