Website/Cell Phone based weekly quiz
competition on palm oil and its beneficial attributes was launched
by Dr. Kalyana Sundram, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian
Palm Oil Council, Malaysia on Jan 24, 2009 at the Winter Garden of
Dhaka Sheraton Hotel coinciding with the final event of Monitor -
Malaysian Palm Oil Chef of the Year – 2008 in presence of Hon’ble
Minister for Post & Telecommunications Rajiuddin Ahmed Raju and
Chief of Army Staff General Moin U Ahmed. The quiz competition has
been organized by Malaysian Palm Oil Council to educate and make
aware the students of university/college about palm oil and its
beneficial attributes. Every Sunday, there will be a draw to select
the winner from the correct responders who will be awarded with a
mobile phone. Besides, the highest SMS sender of the month will also
be rewarded with a mobile phone every month. The activity is a year
long programme and would continue till Dec 2009. Next Net Ltd. has
been engaged as the event manager of the programme. |
